Contact Lens Cleaning Machines?

Wouldn’t it be great if you could use a contact lens cleaning machine every night and not have to do anything yourself? Whether you wear soft contact lenses, gas permeable lenses or hard contact lenses, they usually need to be cleaned every time you take them out of your eyes. Typically this cleaning consists of wetting the lens with a cleaning solution, rubbing the contact lens gently with your fingertips for about ten seconds, disinfecting the lenses and letting them soak overnight. Sometimes you even have to use a protein deposit remover. But with a contact lens cleaning machine, you could get them back in your eyes much faster, with no effort on your part to keep them clean or worry about whether you’ve cleaned them properly. A contact lens cleaning machine won’t tear the lenses and it will clean them more effectively than you can clean them yourself.
It seems the Asian market might be ahead of the American one when it comes to manufacturing contact lens cleaning machines. One corporation in Taiwan makes a Daily Care Kit, Portable Ultrasonic Contact Lens Cleaner. A different company in China also has a lens cleaning machine, the Ultrasonic Contact Lens Cleaner which claims to eliminate protein in two minutes.
Back in the States, there is a contact lens cleaning machine for $29.95. It’s called the Clensatron 300 CL and requires 2 AA batteries.
A hands-free contact lens cleaning machine could be just what you need to keep your lenses lasting longer.
